Middle School Student Suspended and Arrested For Wearing NRA T-Shirt to School

An 8th grade student in WV has been suspended and arrested for refusing to remove a t-shirt he wore to school which featured the NRA logo and an image of, what appears to be, a .308 caliber, AR style hunting rifle.
According to a report by local news media, the shirt does not seem to explicitly violate any of the written policies related to dress code.
The boy’s father is notably upset about the issue.
From wowktv.com,
“He did not violate any school policy,” Lardieri reiterates. “He did not become aggressive.”
Now, Lardieri says he’s ready to fight until the situation is made right.
“I will go to the ends of the earth, I will call people, I will write letters, I will do everything in the legal realm to make sure this does not happen again,” Lardieri said.
