Juncker vows to BREAK UP the US: In jaw-dropping threat to Trump over support for Brexit

EUROPEAN Union boss Jean-Claude Juncker this afternoon issued a jaw-dropping threat to the United States, saying he could campaign to break up the country in revenge for Donald Trump’s supportive comments about Brexit.

In an extraordinary speech the EU Commission president said he would push for Ohio and Texas to split from the rest of America if the Republican president does not change his tune and become more supportive of the EU.
The remarks are diplomatic dynamite at a time when relations between Washington and Brussels are already strained over Europe’s meagre contributions to NATO and the US leader’s open preference for dealing with national governments.

Italy's referendum will COLLAPSE EURO - chilling warning from investor who forecast Brexit

Italy's referendum will COLLAPSE EURO - chilling warning from investor who forecast Brexit

AN INVESTOR who correctly predicted Britain would leave the European Union (EU) before the referendum has now forecasted the euro will collapse.

Jim Mellon, the Chairman of the Burnbrae Group, has warned the currency will become a victim in the growing anti-establishment surge which will cause the EU to fracture - all within five years.
He said: “Brexit is going to be a sideshow to the problems of Europe that are becoming more and more evident.
“The euro as it stands at the moment is just a very inappropriate mechanism — I give the euro between one and five years of life.”

The UK’s recent Brexit vote, along with Donald Trump's election as US President, has signalled a sea-change in global politics and populist movements around the world have gathered pace.
Italy’s referendum vote at the weekend, as well as France’s presidential election next year, could also see upsets at the ballot box, giving currency traders cause for concern and initiating a run on the euro.

100 Dead in Ukraine as US and EU Move to Impose Sanctions

Senators John McCain and Chris Murphy are working with other members of Congress to get the United States more deeply involved in the internal affairs of Ukraine.
Ron Paul: Ukraine is none of our business.
The move follows an escalation of violence in the country. Reports Thursday indicate 100 people have died and 500 were injured as gunfire erupted in Kiev’s Independence Square where anti-government demonstrations have taken place since November. CNN crews reported the gunfire erupted after protesters threw rocks and Molotov cocktails at security forces.
McCain and Murphy announced “targeted sanctions” aimed at the Ukrainian government. The Obama administration on Wednesday said it is blocking around 20 Ukrainian officials from entering the United States. It says they are linked to the government’s response to violence in Kiev.
The duo said they are busy working on legislation including “targeted sanctions on government officials and other persons who have committed, ordered, or materially supported acts of violence against peaceful citizens in Ukraine, or who are complicit in the rollback of Ukraine’s democracy.” They reportedly “remain in contact with the Administration and look forward to working together on this legislation.” The State Department has announced it will work with the European Union on more extensive sanctions against Ukrainian government officials if the violence worsens.
In December McCain met with Oleh Tyahnybok, the leader of the Ukrainian nationalist Svoboda party.
Tyahnybok was mentioned in a tapped phone call between Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt earlier this month. He was described as one of the “big three” who will rule after Ukraine’s president, Viktor Yanukovych, is removed from office.
In 2004 Oleh Tyahnybok praised Ukraine’s proto-fascist partisans who operated during the Second World War. He said the partisans “did not fear, but took up their automatic rifles, going into the woods to fight Muscovites, Germans, Jewry and other filth.” Tyahnybok insisted Ukraine had to be liberated from a “Moscow-Jewish mafia.”
McCain works with ultra-nationalists to undermine democratically elected Ukrainian government.
“Ukraine will make Europe better and Europe will make Ukraine better,” McCain told protesters, including Right Sector and other militant groups comprising the EuroMaidan movement, including Trident of Stepan Bandera (a Ukrainian nationalist assassinated by the Soviet KGB), Patriot of Ukraine, White Hammer, Ukrainian National Defense, and others.
Right Sector is widely believed to be behind most of the violence in the capital, including shooting at police. It has declared the formation of a Revolutionary National Guard that claims it will unite all ultra-nationalists in the country and arrest all the enemies of the revolution.
The groups rejects integration with the European Union and considers the Svoboda party to be too pacifist and conciliatory.

If America Continues To Go Down The Same Path As Europe, This Is What Life Will Be Like…

Becoming more like Europe is not a good thing.  But that is the path that we are currently on.  For the most part, Europeans live in a socialist “Big Brother” system in which the government completely dominates your life from the cradle to the grave.  Of course there are differences from country to country, but generally speaking the lives of most Europeans are very tightly regulated.  You see, the truth is that high levels of individual liberty and freedom are considered to be “dangerous” by the European elite.  They believe that if we are all allowed to just do whatever we want that it would result in utter chaos.  They are convinced that life is better when those that are smarter (them) control the lives of everyone else.  In essence, Europe is like a giant religious cult in many ways (minus the religion).  With each passing year, the number of rules and regulations governing the daily lives of Europeans steadily grows, as does the level of control.  If you try to live outside of that control, you could very well find yourself in a direct confrontation with the authorities very rapidly.
Just consider what is happening in Germany.  Authorities there have stated repeatedly that they do not believe in having any “parallel societies”, and therefore everyone must participate in the system that the government has established.
That includes all children.  In Germany today, almost all forms of homeschooling are illegal.  In fact, one judge shockingly ruled that one set of parents could not have custody of their children because they might move them to another country and homeschool them there
A judge has issued a stunning verdict in a homeschooling case in Germany, ordering that the parents cannot have custody of their children because the family might move to another country and homeschool, posing a “concrete endangerment” to the children.
Dirk and Petra Wunderlich’s case made international headlines in August when 20 armed police arrived with a battering ram and forcibly took their four children from their home in Darmstadt, Germany, and enrolled them in public school.
As WND reported at the time, the children, ages 7 to 14, were taken into police custody. They were allowed to return home three weeks later when their father and mother, given no choice by the federal bureaucracy in Germany, agreed to allow their kids to attend public schools despite their objection to the social and religious instruction there.
Are you starting to see what I meant when I compared Europe to a cult?
In Europe, government is god, and everyone and everything belongs to the government.
Apparently, that even includes the life savings of their own citizens.  The following is from a Reuters article that was just posted this week…
The savings of the European Union’s 500 million citizens could be used to fund long-term investments to boost theeconomy and help plug the gap left by banks since the financial crisis, an EU document says.
Did you catch that?  The EU apparently believes that they could use the private savings of their own citizens “to fund long-term investments” any time that they want.
But what if you don’t want your life savings to be invested in that way?
Too bad for you.
In fact, according to that Reuters article the EU wants to find ways to “mobilize more personal pension savings” so that there will be a larger pool with which to potentially fund long-term projects…
The Commission will ask the bloc’s insurance watchdog in the second half of this year for advice on a possible draft law “tomobilize more personal pension savings for long-term financing”, the document said.
In Europe, they also tend to love any “Big Brother” technologies that will allow them to watch, track, monitor and record the activities of their citizens.
For example, it has been reported that in the UK there are 1.85 million video cameras watching the population, and London has been called “the most watched city in the world“.
The control freaks in the UK are so paranoid that it is even illegal to carry a knife in public, but despite all of their crazy laws the rate of violent crime in the UK is still far higher than it is in the United States.
Now, the UK has decided that all of the medical records for the entire population will be gathered into a single database.  The following is from a recent TechDirt article
The UK government is currently building a database called care.data that will contain all of England’s medical records. It’s being promoted as providing valuable information for healthcare management and medical researchers that will lead to improved treatment.
But this database will not be private.  In fact, it is being reported that information from this database will be sold to drug companies and insurance companies
Drug and insurance companies will from later this year be able to buy information on patients – including mental health conditions and diseases such as cancer, as well as smoking and drinking habits – once a single English database of medical data has been created.
Harvested from GP and hospital records, medical data covering the entire population will be uploaded to the repository controlled by a new arms-length NHS information centre, starting in March. Never before has the entire medical history of the nation been digitised and stored in one place.
How would you feel if that was being done to your private medical information?
Not that the U.S. is a bastion of freedom and liberty these days either.
For example, Infowars is reporting that the Department of Homeland Security plans to launch a “national license plate tracking system”…
The Department of Homeland Security is set to activate a national license plate tracking system that will be shared with law enforcement, allowing DHS officers to take photos of any license plate using their smartphone and upload it to a database which will include a “hot list” of “target vehicles”.
The details are included in a PDF attachment uploaded yesterday to the Federal Business Opportunities website under a solicitation entitled “National License Plate Recognition Database.”
The system will “track vehicle license plate numbers that pass through cameras or are voluntarily entered into the system from a variety of sources (access control systems, asset recovery specialists, etc.) and uploaded to share with law enforcement” in order to help locate “criminal aliens and absconders.”
And for many more ways that the U.S. is becoming a “Big Brother society”, please see my previous article entitled “32 Privacy Destroying Technologies That Are Systematically Transforming America Into A Giant Prison“.
Another way that America is becoming more like Europe is in the area of religious behavior.
At one time, Europe was a hotbed for religious faith.  Of course those days are long gone.  And the United States is now heading down the exact same path, although Europe is still way ahead of us.  The following is from a Pew Research survey conducted a few years ago…
Half of Americans deem religion very important in their lives; fewer than a quarter in Spain (22%), Germany (21%), Britain (17%) and France (13%) share this view.
So why has religion become so unimportant?
Well, it is because that is what the government system tells them to believe from the time that they are little children.
As I mentioned earlier, the government dominates your life from the beginning to the end in Europe.  This even includes decisions about ending your life.
In fact, in Belgium they actually want to extend the euthanasia law to children
Making the argument that everybody has the right to die, Karine Lalieux, a Socialist member of the Belgian House, is pushing legislation that would extend the country’s 2002 euthanasia law to minors under 18.
“Our responsibility is to allow everybody to live, but also to die, in dignity,’’ said Lalieux.
And in the Netherlands they actually have mobile euthanasia teams that go door to door helping elderly people end their lives in the comfort of their own homes.
Europe is not a model for the rest of us to follow.
Instead, Europe should serve as a stark warning to the rest of the world about what can happen when you let the control freaks get too much control.

Revealed: The secret report that shows how the Nazis planned a Fourth Reich ...in the EU

The paper is aged and fragile, the typewritten letters slowly fading. But US Military Intelligence report EW-Pa 128 is as chilling now as the day it was written in November 1944.
The document, also known as the Red House Report, is a detailed account of a secret meeting at the Maison Rouge Hotel in Strasbourg on August 10, 1944. There, Nazi officials ordered an elite group of German industrialists to plan for Germany's post-war recovery, prepare for the Nazis' return to power and work for a 'strong German empire'. In other words: the Fourth Reich.
Heinrich Himmler with Max Faust, engineer with I. G. Farben
Plotters: SS chief Heinrich Himmler with Max Faust, engineer with Nazi-backed company I. G. Farben
The three-page, closely typed report, marked 'Secret', copied to British officials and sent by air pouch to Cordell Hull, the US Secretary of State, detailed how the industrialists were to work with the Nazi Party to rebuild Germany's economy by sending money through Switzerland.
They would set up a network of secret front companies abroad. They would wait until conditions were right. And then they would take over Germany again.
The industrialists included representatives of Volkswagen, Krupp and Messerschmitt. Officials from the Navy and Ministry of Armaments were also at the meeting and, with incredible foresight, they decided together that the Fourth German Reich, unlike its predecessor, would be an economic rather than a military empire - but not just German.
The Red House Report, which was unearthed from US intelligence files, was the inspiration for my thriller The Budapest Protocol.
The book opens in 1944 as the Red Army advances on the besieged city, then jumps to the present day, during the election campaign for the first president of Europe. The European Union superstate is revealed as a front for a sinister conspiracy, one rooted in the last days of the Second World War.
But as I researched and wrote the novel, I realised that some of the Red House Report had become fact.
Nazi Germany did export massive amounts of capital through neutral countries. German businesses did set up a network of front companies abroad. The German economy did soon recover after 1945.
The Third Reich was defeated militarily, but powerful Nazi-era bankers, industrialists and civil servants, reborn as democrats, soon prospered in the new West Germany. There they worked for a new cause: European economic and political integration.
Is it possible that the Fourth Reich those Nazi industrialists foresaw has, in some part at least, come to pass?
The Red House Report was written by a French spy who was at the meeting in Strasbourg in 1944 - and it paints an extraordinary picture.
The industrialists gathered at the Maison Rouge Hotel waited expectantly as SS Obergruppenfuhrer Dr Scheid began the meeting. Scheid held one of the highest ranks in the SS, equivalent to Lieutenant General. He cut an imposing figure in his tailored grey-green uniform and high, peaked cap with silver braiding. Guards were posted outside and the room had been searched for microphones.

EU Set to Monitor “Intolerant” Citizens

Controlling social behavior: Proposal could ban criticism of Islam, feminism

A frightening proposal currently being considered by the European Parliament would direct governments to monitor citizens deemed “intolerant” and could even lead to a ban on all criticism of Islam and feminism.
The European Framework National Statute for the Promotion of Tolerance (PDF), which was drafted by the European Council on Tolerance and Reconciliation (ECTR), an NGO based in Paris, was presented to the European Parliament’s Civil Liberties committee last month and is thought to be on the verge of implementation.
According to the Gatestone Institute, the Statute represents an “unparalleled threat to free speech” and would have the impact of “effectively shutting down the right to free speech in Europe” by banning “all critical scrutiny of Islam and Islamic Sharia law, a key objective of Muslim activist groups for more than two decades.”
The main purpose of the Statute is aimed at eliminating “anti-feminism” and “Islamophobia,” according to the document, which means that any criticism of feminist political doctrines or the Muslim religion would be considered hate speech.
Section 4 of the document states that, “There is no need to be tolerant to the intolerant. This is especially important as far as freedom of expression is concerned.” In other words, stamping out “intolerance” trumps the free speech rights of millions of European citizens.
“Faith-based groups and schools, adherents of a particular religion or even just parents who want to teach their children certain moral values would all be put under general suspicion of being intolerant,” warns civil rights watchdog European Dignity Watch.
The proposal dictates that “Members of vulnerable and disadvantaged groups are entitled to a special protection, additional to the general protection that has to be provided by the Government to every person within the State.”
This basically mandates that the free speech rights of European citizens need to be revoked in order to secure the “additional” rights of minority groups to not be offended by “intolerant” remarks, which include holding such groups to “ridicule,” a definition which would presumably outlaw satire.
The framework calls for the doctrine to be implemented by “a special administrative unit” in each of the EU’s 28 member states that would “operate within the Ministry of Justice” and have the power of “penal sanctions.” In addition, a “National Tolerance Monitoring Commission” would also be created to “promote tolerance.”
“The principles of freedom of contract and the freedom to live according to one’s personal moral views are in danger of being superseded by a newly developed concept of ‘equality.’ It would undermine freedom and self-determination for all Europeans and subject the private life of citizens to legal uncertainty and the control of bureaucrats,” states European Dignity Watch. “It is about governmental control of social behavior of citizens. These tendencies begin to give the impression of long-passed totalitarian ideas and constitute an unprecedented attack on citizens’ rights.”
The proposal also caters for the re-education of individuals deemed intolerant. “Juveniles convicted of committing crimes….will be required to undergo a rehabilitation program designed to instill in them a culture of tolerance,” states the document.
Schools from elementary level upwards will also be mandated by governments to “introduce courses encouraging students to accept diversity and promoting a climate of tolerance as regards the qualities and cultures of others.”
The proposal also calls on citizens to be brainwashed into “tolerance” via mass media, with governments ensuring that television networks “devote a prescribed percentage of their program to promoting a climate of tolerance.”
The program is not only an alarming threat to free speech but is also deliciously ironic in light of complaints by major EU powers about NSA monitoring of citizens and world leaders.
Given the EU’s history in this context, it’s highly probable that they will adopt the recommendations wholesale. Back in 2001, the EU announced that it had the power to outlaw criticism of itself when the European Court of Justice ruled that the EU could, “lawfully suppress political criticism of its institutions and of leading figures.”

Current membership of the EU is stifling British dreams of free trade

CHAMPIONING transatlantic free trade at last week’s G8 summit, David Cameron saw off a rearguard action from European governments desperate to cocoon Mediterranean farmers and French film-makers from competition.
Tory veteran Ken Clarke claims British dreams of free trade can only be realised through the EU. In reality, the EU’s ebbing value as a free trade area risks being eclipsed by dwindling competitiveness and stubborn protectionism.
Take cars. Last year, Britain was a net exporter for the first time since 1976. To understand why, compare the recent performance of Honda and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). Honda’s Swindon plant is the Japanese firm’s regional hub, manufacturing 90 per cent of its cars sold to Europe. Yet, falling demand has led to scaled back production. In January, Honda announced 800 job losses in Swindon. In contrast, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) produces all its cars in Britain, selling 59 per cent of them outside Europe (and just 22 per cent on the continent).
One of Britain’s biggest exporters, the firm has its eyes firmly fixed on the global market. Buoyed by rising Asian demand, JLR notched up record annual sales last year. What lessons can be drawn from these contrasting fortunes?
One of the strongest arguments for British membership of the EU has been its strategic location as a base for export across Europe. But in the last ten years, UK car exports to Europe rose by around a third, whereas those to the rest of the world almost trebled. Last year, British car firms offset a 9 per cent fall in European sales with a 19 per cent increase in global sales beyond the EU.
As well as a surge in Chinese demand, British car firms are enjoying a boom in exports to places like Brazil, South Korea and Mexico. While the European market remains important, emerging markets are driving long-term UK growth.
Ideally, Britain will re-negotiate better terms of EU membership to reduce the bureaucratic burden from Brussels, while taking advantage of these global opportunities. But if that failed, could a Brexit damage the renaissance of British car exports? It seems unlikely. If Britain left the EU, it would negotiate a trade deal and could expect at least as favourable terms as Switzerland, which is not subject to any car tariffs.
Beyond the automotive sector, the value of total UK exports in goods and services to non-European markets has doubled in ten years. This year, for the first time in history, emerging economies produced more than half the world’s goods and services. Little wonder, according the British Chambers of Commerce, that UK exporters see the greatest opportunities for growth for the next five years in the BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India, China), Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Britain must ride this wave of the future. But could European histrionics over free trade stifle such global ambitions?
It is received wisdom that the EU is a better negotiator of free trade deals than Britain would be on its own. Big blocs, it is argued, have more clout. But this is contradicted by the EU’s own experience. It has successfully negotiated free trade deals with medium-sized countries including Chile, Mexico and Ukraine, but found it tougher with larger nations like Japan and the US.
According to Ken Clarke, the EU “amplifies our influence in the world”. In reality, the EU commitment to free trade is diluted by having to reconcile so many continental special interests. On top of stifling European farm subsidies and cultural quotas, the EU-US deal is blighted by EU efforts to harmonise regulatory standards. This could easily kill the deal. Yet, imposing national regulatory standards is the opposite of dismantling barriers to free trade.
Such EU foot-dragging hurts us the most. According to a report by the Ifo institute, the UK would gain more than any other European country from a US-EU free trade area – with global GDP per head leaping by 10 per cent. Similarly, the EU is prone to knee-jerk protectionist reaction to trade disputes. Rather than courting China for her exponential export opportunities, for example, the EU imposed over 100 protectionist counter-measures in response to a spat over Chinese solar panels.
Unless the EU liberalises at home, lifts horizons abroad, and renegotiates UK terms of membership, the economic case for Britain going it alone will only get stronger.
