KILLED BY MISTAKE BY POLICE IN NEW YORK


Andrea Rebello, 21, was killed during an assault on the student residence where she lived.  

Police in Nassau County, New York, did not reveal who is the agent who shot Andrea Rebello - daughter of Portuguese emigrants  - during a robbery at the residence where she lived with her twin sister. The police spokesman, James Imperiale, confirmed yesterday that the Luso-descendant was hit in the head by a bullet "accidental", adding only that the agent pulled the gun "has been awarded" and has 20 years of experience.

Andrea Rebello, later died in the hospital in the early hours of Saturday.
