North Korea suggests that Russia consider evacuate embassy
North Korea suggested that Russia «consider» evacuate its embassy in Pyongyang, when you live a climate of extreme tension on the Korean peninsula, said today a Russian diplomatic source.
"A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs North Korea to the Russian side proposed to evaluate the output of the employees of the Russian embassy," said the spokesman of that diplomatic representation, Denis Samsonov, quoted by Russian agencies.
The diplomat added that Russia received the suggestion, "as well as other embassies in Pyongyang, given the worsening situation on the Korean peninsula."
"Russia has taken note of the proposal and, at the moment, we are at the stage of decision making," said Samsonov.
"Nothing happens extraordinary, the embassy is working as usual," he added.
"I can assure you that the situation at the moment is absolute calm in Pyongyang. Not observed for any strain. It is a day of holiday that does not bode nothing extraordinary, "said the diplomat.
North Korea has transported a second missile medium range to the east coast and settled into a mobile missile launchers, the agency reported South Korean Yonhap, which increases the fear of an imminent trip to aggravate the already explosive situation.
Pyongyang multiplies the threats of attack several weeks ago in response to the new set of UN sanctions after a nuclear test in February.
